Harmanpreet Singh will lead the Indian at FIH Hockey Men’s World Cup 2023.

Hockey India has announced an 18-member squad to represent India at the prestigious FIH Odisha Hockey Men’s World Cup 2023 to be held in Bhubaneswar and Rourkela from 13th to 29th January.
The Indian team is in Group D of the tournament, which also includes teams from England, Spain and Wales.
Harmanpreet Singh will lead the Indian team in the tournament and Amit Rohidas will be the vice-captain of the team.
India will play its first match in the tournament against Spain on 13 January. This match will be played at Birsamunda Hockey Stadium, Rourkela.
