6th edition of Japan India Maritime Exercise 2022 concluded in the Bay of Bengal.

The 6th edition of Japan India Maritime Exercise 2022 organized by the Indian Navy, JIMEX 22 concluded in the Bay of Bengal, with both the sides bidding each other a traditional steam past on 17th September 2022.
Indian Navy ships led by Rear Admiral Sanjay Bhalla, Flag Officer Commanding Eastern Fleet and Japan Maritime Self Defense Force (JMSDF) ships Izumo & Takanami participated in the week-long exercise.
The exercise, which marked the 10th anniversary of JIMEX since its inception in 2012, strengthened mutual understanding & interoperability between the 2 navies.
