7th Ayurveda Day was celebrated in a big way across the world on 23rd October 2022. Equally relevant in modern times, Ayurveda is regarded as the most ancient and well-documented system of medicine. Its holistic approach is unique to healthy individuals or to those with disease. The main aim of Ayurveda is prevention of diseases and promotion of health.
The theme in 2022 Ayurveda Day is “Har Din Har Ghar Ayurveda”.
Dhanvantari Jayanti or Dhanteras has been celebrated as Ayurveda Day since 2016 to promote the most ancient and well-documented system of medicine, which is Ayurveda.
Ayurveda treats health as a balance of three biological states which are Vata, Pitta and Kapha, the seven dhatus, fire and the state of bliss of the soul, mind and senses. Ayurveda is simply a way of life. Healthy living in medical ways leads to our physical, mental, spiritual and social harmony.
