In Shooting, India’s Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar won the gold medal in the men’s individual 50m Rifle 3 Positions event at the ISSF World Cup in Cairo on 22 February 2023.
Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar easily defeated Alexander Schmirl of Austria’s in the gold medal contest, winning 16-6.
The 22-year-old Tomar had also won gold at the Chagwon World Cup last year.
Earlier, India’s Tilottama Sen had won the bronze medal in the women’s 10m air rifle.
India has so far won 6 medals including 4 gold in this competition and has consolidated its position at the top of the medals tally.
