• During the initial stages, the Asia Cup 2022 was scheduled to be held in Sri Lanka, but due to the growing economic crisis, the tournament was moved to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

• Both the teams will play each other once and the top 2 teams in both the groups will be upgraded to Super 4.
