British Prime Minister Liz Truss resigns in less than seven weeks.

UK Prime Minister Liz Truss resigned on 20th October 2022, just six weeks after her appointment on 20th October 2022.
Talking to reporters outside her government office on Ten Downing Street, she said she could not live up to the expectations for which she was selected.
Ms Truss, 46, was able to stay as prime minister for only 45 days. This was the shortest term of any prime minister in Britain. Conservative Party officials gathered in Downing Street and pressured the prime minister to resign.
