The Union Cabinet chaired by the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has given its approval for signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Department of Biotechnology, Government of India (DBT) & Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and International AIDS Vaccine Initiative (IAVI), USA Which will contribute to the development of new, improved & innovative biomedical devices and technologies to prevent and treat HIV, TB, COVID-19 and other emerging infectious & neglected diseases.
This MoU will further strengthen relations between India & the United States of America (USA) within the framework of international scientific and technical cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
