Shahrukh Khan on the 4th position in the list of world’s richest actors.

The list of world’s richest actors was released on the Twitter account of World of Statistics, in which Indian actor Shah Rukh Khan has overtaken Hollywood star Tom Cruise to become the world’s richest actor.
Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan is the only actor from India in this list, whose total assets are more than 770 million dollars i.e. 6300 crores.
Jerry Seinfeld has been placed at number one in this list. Shahrukh Khan has also left behind Tom Cruise and Jackie Chan.

SS Rajamouli’s film ‘RRR’ won the Best Foreign Language Film and Best Song at the 28th Critics’ Choice Awards 2023.
The film ‘Rise, Roar, Revolt’ ie RRR recently received the Golden Globe Award for the song ‘Naatu Naatu’.
The film also won the Critics’ Choice Award for Best Song for the song ‘Naatu Naatu’.
RRR beat ‘All Quiet on the Western Front’, ‘Argentina 1985’, ‘Bardo’, ‘False Chronicle of a Dumpful of Truths’, ‘Close’ and ‘Decision to Leave’ to win the Best Foreign Language Film award .

On 10 January, The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) has released the list of 301 feature films eligible for Oscars, including ‘RRR’, ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’, ‘The Kashmir Files’. ’ and Indian films like ‘Kantara’.
Apart from Pan Nalin’s ‘Chello Show’, Vivek Agnihotri’s ‘The Kashmir Files’, Marathi films ‘Mee Vasantrao’, ‘Tujhya Saathi Kahi Hi’, R Madhavan’s ‘Rocketry: The Nambi’ are India’s official sends to the Oscars. Effect’, ‘Iravin Nijhal’ and Kannada film ‘Vikrant Rona’ also figure in this list.
Indian films “Chello Show”, “RRR”, “All That Breathes” and “The Elephant Whispers” have already made it to the Oscars’ shortlist for four categories.
This is the first time that India has made it to the Oscars ‘shortlist’ in four categories. It is only after this process that the final nominations are announced.

SS Rajamouli’s “RRR” struck gold at the 2023 Golden Globe Awards by winning the trophy for Best Original Song Motion Picture for its hit track “Naatu Naatu”.
The Telugu track Naatu Naatu is composed by veteran music director MM Keeravani and written by Kaal Bhairav and Rahul Sipligunj.
The blockbuster Telugu film has also been nominated for ‘Best Picture – Non English’ at the ceremony.
Releasing theatrically in March 2022, “RRR” has reportedly raked in over Rs 1,200 crore at the global box office.

The song ‘Naatu Naatu’ from SS Rajamouli’s film ‘RRR’ has been shortlisted for Oscars 2023. This is the first song from India to be shortlisted for Oscars.
The song has been shortlisted in the Best Song category, which is one of the 15 songs shortlisted for the Oscars 2023.
The song ‘Naatu Naatu’ is composed by MM Keeravani and written by Chandrabose, voiced by Rahul Sipligunj and Kaal Bhairav.
The song was also nominated for Best Original Song at the 80th Golden Globe Awards.

SS Rajamouli’s film RRR features in the global list of top 50 films of 2022 curated by Sight & Sound magazine.
The list also includes Shaunak Sen’s acclaimed documentary All That Breathes.
Looks like RRR is on an unstoppable run in the International Awards season. SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus has now made it to the global list of top 50 films of the year. RRR was placed at the 9th position.
Rajamouli’s magnum opus follows a pre-independence story set in the 1920s, revolving around two real-life Indian revolutionaries – Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem.

Bollywood actress, Sonakshi Sinha has been named PETA India’s 2022 Person of the Year.
Sonakshi’s actions helped save the lives of many animals killed for fashion, but her strong advocacy of dog and cat rights earned her the title.
She is actively involved in animal welfare activities and regularly voices the need for stronger animal protection laws.
PETA stands for People for Ethical Treatment of Animals. PETA was founded in 1980 and is dedicated to establishing and defending the rights of all animals.
