CCEA approved Tarang Hill-Ambaji-Abu Road new rail line in Gujarat & Rajasthan to provide connectivity

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) on 13th July approved the Tarang Hill-Ambaji-Abu Road new rail line in Gujarat & Rajasthan to provide connectivity and improve mobility.
The estimated cost of this project is more than Rs. 2798.16 crore and it will be completed by 2026-27.
The total length of the new rail line will be more than 116 kms.
The project will generate direct employment for about 40 lakh man days during construction.
The rail line will increase connectivity to Ambaji Shaktipeeth & Ajitnath Jain Temple.
