Chinese President Xi Jinping has secured an unprecedented 3rd term at National Congress of Chinese Communist Party.

Chinese President Xi Jinping, who is also the general secretary of China’s ruling party, consolidated his power to secure an unprecedented third term as the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China concluded on 22nd October.
Soon after the conclusion of the 20th Party Congress on 22 October, state news agency Xinhua announced 205 members of the new Central Committee, which oversees the party’s 97 million members.
The 20th Central Committee consisting of 205 full members will report to the 25-member Politburo, which will be chaired by the Politburo Standing Committee (PBSC).
