Clash between Indo-Chinese soldiers on LAC in Tawang sector, many soldiers injured.

  • Indian & Chinese soldiers clashed in Arunachal Pradesh’s Tawang sector in the early hours of 9th December, beating each other with sticks and rods after the deadly Galwan incident in eastern Ladakh in June 2020.
  • Indian soldiers injured in the clash are undergoing treatment at a hospital in Guwahati.
  • There has been a bloody clash between the soldiers of India and China on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Arunachal Pradesh. On December 9, 600 Chinese soldiers were trying to infiltrate to remove the Indian post at a height of 17 thousand feet at Youngste in Tawang.
  • After India’s retaliatory strike, a flag meeting took place and the issue was settled. At present, the armies of both the countries have withdrawn from the disputed site.
