Defense Minister Rajnath Singh felicitated 25 winners of Veer Gatha 2.0 at an event in New Delhi on the eve of Republic Day.
Rajnath Singh presented a cash prize of Rs 10,000, a medal and a certificate to the winners in the presence of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and Minister of State for Defense Ajay Bhatt.
More than 100 NCC cadets and students from Army Public School and Cantonment Board were present in the programme.
Veer Gatha :
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has launched the ‘Veer Gatha Project’ for the students of Grades 3-12.
The project aims to commemorate the courage of the officers and personnel of the Armed Forces.
Veer Gatha 2.0 is the second edition of Project Veer Gatha. In year 2022 Veer Gatha Edition-1, was launched.
