DRDO successfully test-fired short-range ballistic missile Prithvi II off the Odisha coast.

The Defense Ministry said that the Defense Research and Development Organisation, DRDO successfully test-fired short-range ballistic missile, Prithvi-II, from the Integrated Test Range, Chandipur, off the Odisha coast on 10 Janaury.
A well-established system, the Prithvi-II missile has been an integral part of India’s nuclear deterrence.
The missile hit its target with high accuracy. The user training launch successfully validated all the operational and technical parameters of the missile.
