FIH Hockey World Cup 2023 : Germany beat Belgium in shootout to lift World Cup trophy for the 3rd time.

Germany has won the FIH Men’s Hockey World Cup title 2023.
Germany defeated defending champions Belgium 5-4 in a shootout in the final played at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar on 29 January.
With this, Germany has won the World Cup three times, first in 2002 and second in 2006.
Pakistan is the most successful team, having won the tournament four times. The Netherlands, Australia and Germany have won three titles each. Both Belgium and India have won the tournament once.
