First meeting of the G20 Development Working Group under the chairmanship of India began in Mumbai on 13 December.

  • The G20 Development Working Group (DWG) meeting begins in Mumbai on 13th to 16th December under the chairmanship of India.
  • India’s G20 Sherpa Amitabh Kant said India’s approach to the development working group meeting would be to share India’s story of human-centred Sustainable Development Goals and citizen-centred governance.
  • During this meeting, India will focus on harnessing the power of digital technology and data as a key enabler.
