German Chancellor Olaf Scholz is arriving in India on a two-day visit on 25 Feb.

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz arrived in New Delhi on 25 February on a two-day visit to India. He is accompanied by a high level delegation of senior officials and businessmen.
He will discuss with Prime Minister Narendra Modi all relevant issues related to the development of both the countries and world peace.
Chancellor Scholz will discuss mutual, regional and global issues. The two leaders will hold talks with prominent business representatives and CEOs. Chancellor Scholz will also call on the President Mrs. Draupadi Murmu.
This is the first visit by a German Chancellor to India since the biennial Inter-Governmental Consultations arrangement was established in 2011.
In inter-governmental consultations, the ministers of the two countries discuss the subjects of their jurisdiction and inform their heads of government about the result of this discussion.
