- The government has appointed 37 new judges of the High Court.
- This is in continuation of the appointment of 26 High Court judges in various High Courts 12th August 2022.
- With the notification of the appointment of another 11 High Court judges in the Punjab & Haryana High Court by the government in year 2022, so far 138 appointments have been made in various High Courts of the country.
- Thus it has surpassed its earlier record of 126 appointments to the High Court in year 2016.
