Government extended the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana for 3 more months

The Union Cabinet has extended the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana Scheme for another three months from October to December this year in 2022.
Union Minister Anurag Thakur said that 44 thousand 762 crore rupees will be spent in the next three months, so far the government has spent about 3 lakh 45 thousand crore rupees under this scheme.
The Union Cabinet has also approved an increase of four percent in Dearness Allowance (DA) and Dearness Relief.
Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur said, this will benefit the central government employees and pensioners.
