Falguni Shah wins : Grammy 2022
Indian-American singer Falguni Shah, known as Falu wins Grammy for Best Children’s Music Album Grammy 2022 for “A Colourful World”.
Falguni Shah is the only Indian-origin woman to have been nominated twice at the Grammys in the Best Children’s Music Album category. Earlier, the New York singer was nominated for a Grammy in the same category for her 2018 album – Faalu Bazaar.
Ricky Kej wins : 2nd Grammy
Indian music composer Ricky Cage made headlines by winning the coveted music award for best new era album ‘Divine Tides’ along with rock-legend Stewart Copeland (The Police). This is Ricky Cage’s second Grammy – the first time he was awarded in 2015 for his album – ‘Winds of Sansar’.
Grammys 2022:
The 64th edition of Grammy Awards was held at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Initially scheduled for January 31, the celebrations were postponed due to the surge of Omicron variants of COVID-19.
