Bilateral training exercise “Austra Hind 22” between contingents of Indian Army and Australian Army is scheduled to take place from 28th November to 11 December 2022 at Mahajan Field Firing Range (Rajasthan).
This is the first exercise in the Austra Hind series in which all arms and services of both the armies will participate.
Exercise “Austra Hind” will be an annual event which will be held alternately in India and Australia.
The aim of the exercise is to build positive military-to-military relations, imbibe each other’s best practices and enhance interoperability while conducting multi-domain operations in semi-desert terrain under UN peacekeeping mandate.
