- India successfully conducted a training launch of Agni-III, an intermediate range ballistic missile, from APJ Abdul Kalam Island in Odisha on 24 November.
- The successful test was part of a routine user training launch conducted under the aegis of the Strategic Forces Command.
- The launch was carried out for a predetermined range during which all the operational parameters of the system were verified.
