The 6th edition of India-Kazakhstan joint military training exercise “KAZIND-22” is scheduled to be held at Umroi (Meghalaya) from 15th to 28th December 2022.
Troops from the Kazakhstan Army, which includes troops from the Southern Regional Command, along with troops from the 11 Gorkha Rifles of the Indian Army will participate in the exercise.
The objective of the military exercise is to advance positive military-to-military relations under United Nations peace enforcement mandate, sharing of each other’s best practices and the ability to conduct simultaneous military activities while undertaking counter terrorist operations in semi-urban/wilderness scenarios. to promote.
“Exercise KAZIND” will raise the level of defense cooperation between the Indian Army & Kazakhstan Army which will further boost bilateral relations between the two countries.
