India and Nepal on 16th May 2022 signed and exchanged six Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) and agreements. These include a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Indian Council of Cultural Relations and Lumbini Buddhist University on the establishment of the Dr. Ambedkar Chair for Buddhist Studies and a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Indian Council of Cultural Relations & the University of Kathmandu on the establishment of the ICCR Chair for Indian Studies.
The letter of Agreement between Kathmandu University & Indian Institute of Technology (IITM) was also signed for a joint degree program at Master’s level.
