India will host the Quad Foreign Ministers’ meeting on 3 March 2023 in New Delhi.

  • The Quad foreign ministers will be hosted by India on 3rd March in New Delhi.
  • The meeting will be chaired by External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar. It will see the participation of the Foreign Ministers of Australia and Japan and the US Secretary of State.
  • The meeting will be an opportunity for the Ministers to follow up on the discussions held during their last meeting in New York in September 2022.
  • The Ministry of External Affairs said they will exchange views on recent developments in the Indo-Pacific region and regional issues of mutual interest, guided by their vision of a free, open and inclusive Indo-Pacific.
  • The Ministers will also review the progress made by the Quad in the implementation of initiatives aimed at advancing its constructive agenda and addressing contemporary priorities of the region.
