India beat Australia by 6 wickets in the Border – Gavaskar Trophy 2nd Cricket Test match, played at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi from 17 to 21 February in New Delhi.
- Chasing 115 for victory, the hosts scored 118 for four in the second session on the third day. This is the second time in a row that India has defeated Australia in a Test match within three days.
- Ravindra Jadeja took 7 wickets from India while Ravichandran Ashwin took 3 wickets. Chasing the target, the North Indian team easily achieved this target.
- Cheteshwar Pujara, playing his 100th Test match, remained unbeaten after scoring 31 runs in the second innings.
- The third Test of the series will be played in Indore from 1st March 2023.
