Indian Army celebrated 258th Raising Day of Army Medical Corps on 3 April 2022.

Indian Army celebrated the 258th Raising Day of Army Medical Corps on 3 April 2022. The motto of core is “Sarva Santu Niramaya”, which means “Let all be free from disease and disability”. The Army Medical Corps has excelled in providing health care to UN peacekeeping forces in war and peacetime & in disaster management to civilian officials in defense forces & foreign missions. The Corps has been at the forefront of the fight against COVID since last 2 years and has rendered selfless & outstanding service to the nation.

To commemorate the occasion, Vice Admiral Rajat Datta, Director General of Armed Forces Medical Services & Lieutenant General Daljit Singh, Director General of Medical Services (Army) along with Directors General of Medical Services of (Navy) & Air Force laid wreaths at National War Memorial and paid tributes to medical personnel who have made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty.
