- Indian Greco-Roman wrestler Ankit Gulia has won a bronze medal in the Ibrahim Mustafa ranking-series in Alexandria, Egypt on 25 February.
- The 19-year-old Ankit defeated Nurzhigit Keneshbek Uulu of Kyrgyzstan 9-0 in the repechage round. He was defeated 9–0 by Georgian Otar Abuladze.
- The Indian wrestler won a medal after Iranian 67kg Olympic champion Mohammadreza Abdolhamid Gerei withdrew from the bronze medal match due to injury.
