Indian Navy Ship Vikrant successfully completes 4th phase of sea trial

The fourth phase of sea trials for the indigenous aircraft carrier – Vikrant has been successfully completed, during which integrated tests of most of the equipment and systems were carried out.
The ship’s delivery is being targeted by the end of July 2022.
The Defense Ministry said, after which the ship will be commissioned in August 2022 to celebrate the Amrit Festival of Independence.
The indigenous design and construction of aircraft carriers by the Indian Navy & Cochin Shipyard Limited with over 76% indigenous material is a shining example in the nation’s quest for a self-reliant India & Make in India initiative.
