Indian team won the bronze medal in the Asia Mixed Team Badminton Championships in Dubai.

The Indian Badminton team had to settle for a bronze medal after losing 2-3 to China in the semi-finals of the Badminton Asia Mixed Team Championships 2023 held at the Dubai Exhibition Center on 18 February 2023.
India had earlier defeated Hong Kong 3-2 in the quarter-finals to book their place in the semi-finals.
In the men’s singles, China’s Lei Lan Xi and India’s HS Prannoy face each other. Where HS Prannoy lost the first game 13-21.
In women’s singles, PV Sindhu lost the first game 9-21 to Gao Fangjie of China.
Indian men’s doubles pair of Dhruv Kapila / Chirag Shetty and Chinese pair of Zhou Hao Dong / He Jie Ting face off. In the match that lasted 48 minutes, the Indian pair won the men’s doubles by defeating the Chinese pair 21-19, 21-19.
Indian women’s doubles pair Trisha Jolly / Gayatri Gopichand Pullela and Chinese pair Liu Sheng Shu and Tan Ning. The Indian women’s pair defeated the Chinese pair 21-19, 13-21, 21-19 in a thrilling match.
