Infosys Science Foundation names winners of Infosys Prize 2022 in six categories.

  • Infosys Science Foundation (ISF) announced the winners of Infosys Prize 2022 in six categories on 15th November. These categories include engineering and computer sciences, humanities, life sciences, mathematical sciences, physical sciences, and social sciences.
  • The award for each category consists of a gold medal, a citation and an award of $100,000 (or its equivalent in rupees).
  • Infosys focuses on the achievements of the awardees and rewards them for their contribution to science and research impacting India.
  • The Infosys Prize 2022 in Engineering and Computer Science was awarded to Suman Chakraborty, Life Sciences was awarded to Vidita Vaidya, Mathematical Sciences was awarded to Mahesh Kakde, Physical Sciences was awarded to Nissim Kanekar,Social Sciences was awarded to Rohini Pande, Henry J Heinz II, Humanities was awarded to Sudhir Krishnaswamy,
