International Cheetah Day and Wildlife Conservation Day 2022 : 4th December

National Zoological Park, Delhi Zoo celebrated International Cheetah Day and Wildlife Conservation Day on 4th December 2022 in New Delhi. The objective of the festival is to spread awareness about wildlife conservation among the present generation. History :

A special day dedicated to these incredible racing species is associated with the Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF), and an American zoologist and researcher named Dr. Laurie Marker. American zoologist Dr Laurie Marker is credited with creating International Cheetah Day. Dr Marker founded the Cheetah Conservation Fund in 1991 and he designated 4 December as International Cheetah Day in 2010. Since that year, the world is celebrating this day.
