International Day of Innocent Children Victims of Aggression, the United Nations (UN) observes every year on 4th June to raise awareness of the children who have been victims of physical, mental, and emotional abuse around the world. On this day, the United Nations reaffirms its commitment to preserve children’s rights.

History -:

The first International Day of Innocent Children Victims of Attack was observed on 19 August 1982. At the time, the day focused on the victims of the Lebanese War. In the 1982 Lebanon War, Israeli forces invaded southern Lebanon after repeated attacks & counterattacks between Palestine Liberation Organization & Israel Defense Forces. The invasion was followed by an attempted assassination of the Israeli ambassador.
