Indian students won 3 Gold, 16 Silver medals in various International Olympiads in Mathematics, Physics, Biology, Chemistry. While the Mathematics Olympiad was held in Norway and the Biology Olympiad in Armenia, the other 2, organized by Switzerland and China, were held virtually.
International Olympiads :
International Mathematical Olympiad 2022 :
The Indian team won 1 gold & 5 bronze medals at the International Mathematical Olympiad 2022 held in Oslo, Norway from 6th to 16th July, 2022. Pranjal Srivastava scored a hat-trick with his 3rd consecutive gold medal at the IMO. Arjun Gupta, Adhitya Venkata Ganesh Mangudy, Atul Shatavart Nadig, Vedant Saini, Kaustav Mishra bagged Bronze medals in all 589 contestants participated in IMO 2022.
International Biology Olympiad (IBO) 2022 :
India performed well at the 33rd International Biology Olympiad 2022 held in Yerevan, Armenia, from 10th to 18th July, 2022. All 4 Indian students bagged medals. Mayank Pandhari bagged a Gold medal & Amritansh Nigam, Prachi Jindal, Rohit Panda bagged silver medals.
International Physics Olympiad (IPhO) 2022 :
India performed well at the 52nd International Physics Olympiad 2022, organised by the Physics Association of Switzerland, and held in online mode from July 10th to 17th July, 2022. All 5 Indian students in the competition won medals including 1 Gold and 4 Silver medals. Deevyanshu Malu won Gold medal and Abhijeet Anand, Anilesh Bansal, Dheeraj Kurukunda and Harsh Jakhar bagged silver medals.
International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO) 2022 :
All 4 Indian students participating in 54th International Chemistry Olympiad 2022, organised by China won medals. Students Mahit Rajesh Gadhiwala, Nivesh Aggarwal, Tanishka Rameshchandra Kabra, Chinmay Khokar bagged the silver award. The Olympiad was held in online mode from 10th to 18th July, 2022.
