India’s PSLV C54 was launched from Satish Dhawan Space Center Sriharikota at 11.56 am on 26th November 2022.
The mission payload, including OceanSat series Earth Observation Satellite-6 (EOS-06) and eight other nanosatellites, is separated into two different sun-synchronous orbits in the specified two hours.
The mission will be one of the longest missions undertaken by ISRO scientists, which will involve the rocket to change orbits using the two-orbit change thrusters (OCTs) used in the PSLV-C54 launch vehicle.
The Earth observation satellite is expected to be separated in Orbit-1, while the passenger payload will be separated in Orbit-2.
