- The world famous Jaisalmer Desert Festival, also known as Maru Utsav, began on 13 February 2022 in Pokhran, Rajasthan.
- The four-day festival began with a procession in Pokhran where the uniqueness of Maru or desert culture and tradition was presented through various tableaux.
- Camel Polo match will be the center of attraction on 15th February.
- BSF Camel Tattoo Show will also be organized in Maru Utsav.
- Maru Utsav will be celebrated from 13 to 16 February 2022.
