Host Haryana won the Khelo India Youth Games (KIYG) 2021 title with 52 gold medals on the final day on 13th June 2022. The Game was concluded on 13th June 2022 with Haryana topping the medal tally with 52 gold, 39 silver & 46 bronze medals. Maharashtra finished 2nd with 125 medals including 45 gold, 40 silver & 40 bronze medals. Karnataka finished 3rd with 22 gold, 17 silver & 28 bronze medals.

Khelo India Youth Games (KIYG) 2021 won by host Haryana

Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya, the Chief Guest at the closing ceremony held at Indradhanush Auditorium, Panchkula, said that he is confident that this Games will produce international level players and He said that players from different states worked hard & won medals.

Addressing the sportspersons on this occasion Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Anurag Thakur congratulated the Chief Minister Manohar Lal & Haryana Sports Minister Sandeep Singh for organizing the 4rth edition of (KIYG) 2021 and providing all the facilities to the participating sportspersons.

A total of 33 states won at least one medal while 28 won at least one gold in KIYG 2021.
