Mr. Alkesh Kumar Sharma assumed charge as a new Secretary Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology on 5 May 2022. Mr. Sharma is an Indian Administrative Services Officer of 1990 batch from Kerala cadre.
Apart from this, other responsibilities were also entrusted to him, Mr. Sharma was also looking after the cabinet proposals of all the infrastructure, economic, finance, industry, agriculture & allied ministries of the central government.
