The American space agency, NASA, launched its most powerful rocket on 16th November as part of a plan to eventually return humans to the Moon.
The 98-meter Space Launch System is the most powerful rocket ever built by NASA.
It marks a major step forward for the United States returning astronauts to the lunar surface for the first time since the end of the Apollo program 50 years ago.
After years of delays and billions in cost overruns, the Space Launch System rocket thunders skyward, lifting off from the Kennedy Space Center with four million kilograms of thrust and hitting 160 kilometers per hour within seconds. NASA Administrator Bill Nelson commented that it was a great day. However, he also added that it is only a test flight.
