Election Commission of India is celebrating 13th National Voters Day on 25 January 2023.
The theme for this year’s NVD, ‘Nothing Like Voting, I Vote for Sure’ .
NVD is celebrated at the national, state, district, constituency and polling station levels, making it one of the biggest celebrations in the country.
The day is observed on 25 January as the Foundation Day of the Election Commission of India. Voters’ Day is dedicated to raise awareness among the youth about the importance of voting in their country.
Since 2011, National Voters’ Day is celebrated every year on 25 January across the country to mark the foundation day of the Election Commission of India, i.e. 25 January 1950.
