NITI Aayog launched the National Data and Analytics Platform (NDAP) for open public access on 13 May 2022. The platform aims to democratize access to public government data by making data available on an accessible, interoperable, interactive and user-friendly platform.
It hosts basic datasets from various government agencies, presents them coherently, and provides tools for analysis and visualization. This public launch follows a beta release of the platform in August 2021 that provided access to a limited number of users for testing & feedback.
