Nobel Literature Prize 2022 awarded to French author Anne Arnoux.

82-year-old French writer Anne Arnoux has been awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature for the year 2022 on 6th October.
The Swedish Academy has awarded the octogenarian French writer the Nobel for the courage and clinical acuity with which she uncovers the roots, mechanisms and collective restrictions of individual memory.
Annie Arnoux was born in 1940 and grew up in the small town of Yvette, Normandy.
Arnoux, 82, has seen a sharp rise in popularity in the English-speaking world since 2019, his seminal work ‘The Years’ translated by Alison L. Strayer was shortlisted for the Man Booker International Prize.
