Nobel Prize 2022 in Economics awarded to Ben S Bernanke, Douglas W Diamond, Philip H Dybvig.

The Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences for 2022 was presented on 10th October by three US economists : Ben S Bernanke, Douglas W Diamond and Philip H Dybvig for “significantly improving our understanding of the role of banks in the economy, especially during the financial crisis”.
The final announcement of the Nobel Prize for the year 2022, the Economics Prize, has been awarded to three individuals for their role in research into the way banks work.
With the work done by Bernanke, Diamond and Dybvig, we now have a better understanding of how banks are managed, bank regulation, banking crises and financial crises, for which they are being awarded.
