Oman’s Zeeshan Maqsood won the ICC Men’s Associate Cricketer of the Year award.

ICC has revealed the Men’s Associate Cricketer of Year. The award has been won by ‘Zeeshan Maqsood’ of Oman.
Zeeshan Maqsood is a 34-year-old player from Oman who is also the captain of the team. He is a left-handed batsman & a slow left-arm off-spinner. He plays as an opener.
In the year 2021, ‘Zeeshan Maqsood’ played 10 ODIs & 3 T20 matches. He scored 270 runs in 9 innings in ODIs this year at an average of 33.75.
Maqsood especially flourished against PNG, recording four wickets against them twice this year, one in ODIs and the other in the T20 World Cup.
