PM Narendra Modi & Nepal PM Sher Bahadur Deuba held delegation-level talks in New Delhi on 2 April 2022.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Nepalese counterpart Sher Bahadur Deuba on 2nd April 2022 became the 4th foreign country to operate a RuPay card with the joint launch of Indian electronic payment system in the Himalayan nation. The 2 leaders reviewed the progress in India-Nepal partnership and discussed ways to further their cooperation agenda.
PM Narendra Modi and Nepalese PM Bahadur Deuba jointly launched several projects, They flagged off the 35-kilometer long cross-border passenger train services between Jaynagar of Bihar in India and Kurtha in Nepal.
