- The theme of this Digital India Week is “Catalyst the Technology of New India” to transform the country into a digitally empowered society & knowledge economy.
- The Digital Fair, showcasing over 200 stalls on digital solutions & emerging technologies, was visited by the Prime Minister.
- The Digital India Week 2022 event will showcase digital platforms like Aadhaar, UPI, Coin, DigiLocker, which have provided ease of living to citizens.
- PM Narendra Modi launched several Digital India initiatives, namely, India Stack: indiastack.global, MyScheme: Service Discovery Platform, MeriPehchaan: National Single Sign On (NSSO), Digital India Bhashini: Bhasha Daan, Digital India GENESIS and unveiled an eBook ‘Catalyzing New India’s Techade’.
- A total budget of Rs 750 crore has been envisaged for these schemes.
