President Murmu inaugurated the 18th National Jamboree of Bharat Scouts and Guides in Rajasthan.

  • President Draupadi Murmu inaugurated the 18th National Scouts and Guides Jamboree on 4th January 2023 at Rohat in Pali district of Rajasthan.
  • The President was on a two-day (3 & 4 January) state visit. The 7-day event was hosted by Rajasthan after 66 years.
  • More than 35,000 Scouts and Guides from across the country are participating in this event.

The Bharat Scouts & Guides (BSG) is the national Scouting and Guiding association of India. The national headquarters of BSG is recognised by the Government of India.

What is Jamboree?

Jamboree is a national level gathering of Scouts and Guides held once in 4 years or to mark special occasions. The Jamboree provides an opportunity for Scouts and Guides to meet youth from different states of India and abroad.
