Comedian Raju Srivastava has passed away in Delhi at the age of 58. On 10th August, he suffered a heart attack while exercising at the gym.
He died on 21st September morning. Hospital sources said the comedian passed away at 10:30 am.
He was said to be critical and on ventilator for more than a month. While he showed little improvement, Raju’s health took a turn for the worse earlier this week.
Srivastava appeared in Hindi films such as “Maine Pyar Kiya”, “Baazigar”, “Bombay to Goa” (remake) & “Aamdani Athani Kharcha Rupaiya”. He was one of the contestants of “Bigg Boss” season 3.
Srivastava, who has been in the entertainment industry since the 1980s, rose to fame in 2005 after participating in the first season of the reality stand-up comedy show The Great Indian Laughter Challenge.
