Slovenia elected Natasa Pirc Musar as the first female President.

Natasa Pirc Musar has been elected the country’s first female president, defeating her conservative rival in the second round of elections held in Slovenia on 13th November.
Slovenia’s election commission said Pirak Musar won about 54% of the vote, ahead of Mr Logar, who got just over 46% of the vote. Turnout was 49.9% among a population of about 2 million.
Ms. Natasa Pirk Musar is a journalist and lawyer who ran as an independent with the support of Slovenia’s centre-left government. He defeated Ange Logger, former foreign minister and a veteran of conservative politics.
