- Supertech Twin Towers in Noida were Demolished at 2:30 PM on 28 August 2022 (Sunday).
- The demolition took place in line with the directions of the Supreme Court for violating set rules, building regulations and fire safety norms.
- The demolition process took less than 10 seconds. Nearly 3,700 kg explosive was used to bring two towers down.
Qns : Why was Noida’s Supertech Twin Towers demolished?
Ans : The twin towers are being demolished due to serious violations of the building code. Noida Authority & Supertech indulged in “nefarious complicity” and ordered the company to demolish the buildings at its own expense under the guidance of the Noida Authority.
