UIDAI won the Data Security Council Award for India’s Best Security Practices in the Government Sector.

UIDAI Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has won the Data Security Council (DSCI) Best Security Practice in Government Sector award.
The award was given to UIDAI during DSCI’s three-day Annual Information Security Summit (AISS) in New Delhi for its key role in securing the nationally critical Aadhaar infrastructure providing digital identity-based welfare services to residents.
In the inaugural session of the summit Dr Saurabh Garg, CEO, UIDAI said that many economies are reaching out to UIDAI for consultation on digital identity programs and the country can play a major role in guiding them through digital public goods.
